Mary Paxton's Pastel

An older lady that comes to Greenville created Mary Paxton's pastel. It is an early christmas present from Will's parents. We are so thrilled and thought she did a wonderful job! Now, the hard part will be picking out the matte and frame. Mary Paxton's dress was a dress my grandmother made me when i was little!

o.k. i would love to have frances thompson do one of mary peyton - she's got to be getting old, though, huh? she did one of me when i was 9 years old - it's hanging in the hall between mary peyton's room and the guest room.

can you text me and tell me what she charges? also, how could i find her? does she live in greenville? i saw the one of mary wright that she did on frankie's blog.

now y'all have me wanting one of mary peyton........now instead of in the same dress she did mine in!

I can't believe that this lady is still alive. I remember going to her and having mine done when I was little. She doesn't live in Greenville does she? I want the info on her. I'd love to have these done of the kids.

It is absolutely STUNNING!!! My mom, sister and I were talking about Frances Thompson the other day and are amazed that she's still able to do such beautiful work...just like 30 years ago!! She did pastels of me, Sydney & Breisch when I was 3. We're planning on having the kids done soon. I know you are so proud of it.
